my laptop fan kicked out 9ever ago and for some reason now after so long of it being entirely dormant its just jolting and buzzing sporadically. a few times a second with occasionally a few seconds where the fan runs normally but? it stops almost immediately after i notice every time. i looked it up and i think it might be the cpu fan or something like that?? fan cpu??? the thing that controls the fan, basically. and if it is then i think shit like thats like two to three hundred bucks to repair. i was fine w it when it was at risk of overheating but now it feels like a spastic heartbeat and its rlly throwing me off so i might go for it..... at which point my art output will come to a near halt bc i'll be using grandmas laptop for a while, however long the repairs take (if we can afford them sigh).
